Mirena IUS, most effective and cost-saving contraceptive method

In a study on women in the United States, evonorgestrel-containing Mirena intrauterine system (IUS) is the most effective and cost-saving contraceptive method per person for five years compared with currently available nine contraceptive methods, said a report released by the recent issue of Contraception, an OB and GY medical journal.
