Pocket payment of chronic patients to be lightened.

The government revised the NHI related provisions including the enforcement decree of the National Health Insurance Reimbursement Act effective from Jan. 1, 2004, applying a broader scope of its reimbursement and reducing the patient's own payment for the 2nd class medical service beneficiaries.
