Government to give incentives to GMP-accredited health foods firms

With the functional health foods law that will take place in January 1, 2004, the Ministry of Health and Welfare will extend some benefits to health foods companies designated as GMP-accredited firms as part of its efforts to ensure the safety of health foods and better quality, establish a sound distribution order and nurture the domestic health foods industry.
