Insurance prices of 83 items to be reduced from January 2004

The Ministry of Health and Welfare says health insurance price of 83 items will be reduced from January 1st of next year by 23.84 percent on average.

According to the ministry, 344 items from 178 substances assessed and listed as insurance-covered drugs in the period ranging from September 1, 1999 to August 31, 2000, were subject to re-evaluation this year.
