GSK won patent dispute over ondansetron

The Seoul District Court ruled on October 30 that Asia Pharm's Zapron had violated the local patent of GlaxoSmithKline's ondansetron (brandname: Zofran) in a patent dispute filed by GSK Korea on March 2002, following its successful second patent litigation against Hana Pharm's ondansetron on April 2001. Back in October 1999, GSK Korea was mired in the first patent dispute.
