Government urged to activate substitute drug dispensing through scrapping of post-dispensing notice

Rep. Kim Sung-soon, a member of the National Assembly's Health and Welfare Committee insisted during a parliamentary inspection session to the Korea Food and Drug Administration that the government should scrap the current post-dispensing notice on bioequivalence-tested drugs to discourage the excessive use of high-priced drugs after the system of separating drug dispensing medical practice.
