Prescription for 1,410 general drugs no longer reimbursable.

The MOHW announced on Sept. 22 that 1,410 general drugs cut off from the NHI reimbursement scheme, which may save about 166 billion won of the NHI fund. The MOHW had earlier undertook such an NHI reimbursement policy for 106 drugs in Sept. 25, 2001 in the amount of 2,216 million won as the lst step, for 328 drugs in Jan. 2002 in value of about 8,145 million won as the 2nd step and for 976 drugs...
