Dextromethorphan and Carisoprodol put under control drugs.

The KFDA announced that Dextromethorphan and Carisoprodol be classified under the psychotropic control drug category, taking effect from Oct. this year. Psychotropic drugs are subdivided by 4 classes depending on its dependency according to the Presidential Ordinance. At present, there are 171 psychotropic drugs in Korea.
