Celebrex reimbursable to elderly patients aged over 65
The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on August 22 that COX-2 preparations including Celebrex would be reimbursable to arthritis patients aged more than 65 from this September 1st.
Pfizer Korea lowered the health insurance price of Celebrex tablet from 1,402 won to 981 won, a decrease of 30 percent and each patient is shouldering 200 won per tablet from his/her out-of-pocket money.
