Medical outlays of 300,000 patients with severe diseases topped 2.9 trillion won last year

The National Health Insurance Corporation says that there were about 300,000 patient suffering from severe diseases who shouldered their individual out-of-pocket money amounting to more than five million won in medical institutions last year.
