Pharmacognosy Professor Association opposes waiver of toxicity tests on 152 herbal ingredients

In a second meeting held on June 19-20 at Hyosung Catholic Univeristy of Daegu, the Pharmacognosy Professor Association reaffirmed that it still oppose a new plan of the Korea Food and Drug Administration designed to draw up the enforcement regulations of Functional Health Foods Act, reflecting the waiver of the toxicity tests of 152 herbs which will be used as ingredients of health foods.
