KFDA to toughen administrative regulations on substandard drugs

The Korea Food and Drug Administration said recently that intensive administrative efforts will be made to curb the manufacture and distribution of counterfeit or substandard drugs through the introduction of a new ranking-based certification system on the level of each pharmaceutical firm and to support better global competitiveness of domestic pharmaceutical industry in the 21st century.
