Cancer patients are benefiting from Iressa's expanded access program

The Korea Food and Drug Administration said it will continue to conduct an expanded access program of Iressa treatment for patients with a non-small cell lung cancer who no longer respond to conventional chemotherapy, as a longer period for formal market authorization and assessment of insurance price related to this drug will be required.
