Korea Bio Engineering Research Institute (KBERI) has developed an anti-asthmatic drug from the extracts of Yulan magnolid, a natural herb, under the government (MOST) financial subsidy (1 billion won) as one of the G7 projects, and recently made an exclusive distribution agreement with Hankuk Shinyak, a herbal pharmaceutical manufacturer on Feb. 20.
