Enterobacter species discovered in gallamine injection

The National Institute of Scientific Investigation (NISI) announced it discovered E. cloacae, one of enterobacter species, in gallamine injection (lot No. H005) indicated for muscle relaxation through its chemical analysis, as an elderly patient was reported to be dead by shock after administration. The pathogen is said to cause respiratory and urinary infections, meningitis, and sepsis.
