Bar code troubles with consolidated drug distribution information system.

The Korea Pharmaceutical Information Center (KPIC) tested their drug distribution information system from Sept 18 to Oct. 7 for 3 weeks over the total 75 cases compiled from 2 pharmacies, one general hospitals and 3 drug wholesalers, and found out that the system was hardly applicable because only 50% of drugs had been bar code registered at the Korea Health and Industry Promotion Board.
