Highly contagious eye infection spreads to Seoul, other major cities

The recent outbreak of acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis, called in Korea the "Apollo eye disease," prompted a number of patients to visit eye hospitals and pharmacies are requesting the rapid delivery of eye preparations from pharmaceutical firms due to surging demands of patients.
