Tentative one-year implementation of minimum pricing system eyed

The Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) announced that the reimbursement calculation criteria for insurance drug prices was changed from the weighed average pricing system to a minimum pricing system of actually transacted drugs, which was passed by the regulatory reform committee on August 9 after the current inspection of drug transactions by related government agencies.
