Searle Korea plant in Hoengsung to close from July 1.
It is reported that the Hoengsung plant of G. D. Searle Korea would be closed down from July 1 this year.
An insider of Pharmacia said "The plant shut-down was under consideration from last year because two plants are not necessary to run after the merger of two companies". Instead, Pharmacia is now expanding Suwon plant with new facilities at one million dollar investment.
