The Ministry of Health and Welfare has recently announced that the number of legal epidemics belonging to Group IV, which will be subjected to the immediate establishment of anti-epidemic measures, is increased from 55 to 57, since smallpox and botulism are re-designated based on the promulgation of the revised enforcement regulations of Infectious Disease Prevention Law on May 17.
