Production of generic products declined

Now that the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) plans to exclude non-bioequivalence test drugs from the list of insurance covered drugs from May 1, many pharmaceutical firms are pushing forward the products with market potentials since the implementation of a system of separating drug dispensing from medical practice, while curtailing the number of generic products.
