7 of 10 medicinal drugs approved this year were reportedly generic drugs referencing originators.

According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety Online Drug Library, 144 ETC drugs and 46 OTC drugs totaling 190 products acquired approval this May.

In the total 144 ETC drugs, there were 80 generics, 41 document-submitted drugs and 1 new drug.
