The number of foreign patients dropped for the first time in 8 years to 320 thousand due to the Chinese THAAD impact.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare(MOHW) and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute(KHIDI) announced the number of foreign patients who visited Korea in 2017 was decreased by 12% from 364,189 in 2016 to 321,574 in 2017.
