The self-sufficiency of finished drugs manufactured in Korea is reportedly getting smaller and smaller with the larger multinational pharmas’ original medicine percentage.

According to the ‘2017 Ministry of Food and Drug Safety Statistical Year Book’ revealed by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety(MFDS), the Korea’s self-sufficiency of finished medicines in 2016 was 76.8%.
