Roadmap for a system to diagnose, treat and control rare diseases

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety(Minister Neung-Hoo Park, MOHW) will announce the ‘1^st Rare Disease Control General Plan(2017-2021)’ for the ‘early care for rare diseases and to improve the medical service quality.

It is the first long-term plan after enforcement of the ‘Rare Disease Control Act(30 December 2016),’ which was decided at the Rare Disease Control Committee.
