4 medicines, including ‘Brigatinib,’ a targeted therapy for lung cancer, were designated as orphan drug.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety(MFDS) pre-announced the ‘Partial Revision Bill to Regulations of Orphan Drugs,’ which newly designated total 4 substances as orphan drug and add and change target diseases/disorders on 5 existing orphan drugs.
