The MFDS will carry out a plan to improve the approval assessment system to promote development of OTC drugs with pharmaceutical companies.

It was told the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety(MFDS) was positively considering about extending the scope of getting exception in safety and efficacy and preparing separate approval standards for OTC drugs in the pharmaceutical industry.
