228 new drug approvals after 2010, 13 of them developed by Korea

There have been 228 products approved as new drug in Korea since 2010, and 13 of them were developed by Korean pharmaceutical companies.

According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the number of new drugs approved in Korea between 2010 and 2016 was the total 228 products, and among them were 199 chemical medicines, 39 biologics and 3 medicinal herbs.
