28% of pharmaceutical products approved in the 1^st quarter was observed to be OTC drugs, which brings an analysis that pharmaceutical companies are active in developing OTC drugs.

According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the total 482 products acquired approval in the 1^st quarter, and there were 346 ETC drugs and 136 OTC drugs. The ratio of these two categories was 72:28.
