Samsung Bioepis to file ‘Humira’ patent nullification lawsuit

Samsung Bioepis filed a lawsuit to nullify a patent against a global pharmaceutical company Abbvie in the U.K.

The reason for the lawsuit is that Abbvie encountering the patent expiration of ‘Humira,’ a rheumatoid arthritis therapy, is blocking entry of other drugs into the market. The day the lawsuit was filed was known to be the 24^th.
