Prohibited to distribute and sell cosmetics and ingredients experimented on animals

An act was decided to prohibit distribution and sales of cosmetic products experimented on animals. It was the first enactment of animal testing prohibition on cosmetics in South East Asia.

The National Assembly passed the ‘Partial Amendment to the Cosmetics Law’ including the contents above at the 338^th special meeting on the 31^st of December last year.
