The Korean first success of replacing the pelvic bone using 3D printing technology

A team, led by Professor Dong-ah Shin, a neurosurgeon from Severance Hospital, has recently announced the success in an operation to replace pelvic bone by manufacturing the patient-tailored pelvic bone(sacral vertebrae) using 3D printing technology for the first time in Korea.
