The National Assembly pushes forward with the ‘MERS Compensation Act’

While the number of MERS-diagnosed and -suspected patients increases rapidly, the National Assembly has pushed forward with a bill to compensate damages caused by isolation and medical institutions.

Assemblyperson Yong-ik Kim (Health and Welfare Committee) from the New Politics Alliance for Democracy tabled the ‘Amendment for the Infectious Disease Prevention and Management Act’ on the 3^rd.
