The pharmaceutical market grows average 3.5% every year while the market share of generics decreases

It is anticipated that although the volume of the Korean pharmaceutical market has been enlarged, the proportion of generics will decrease.

According to the IMS Health’s report called “IMS Market Prognosis 2015-2019, South Korea,” the domestic pharmaceutical market will form approximately KRW 15.8 trillion in 2019, averagely growing 3.5% (±1.5%) up from 2014 to 2019.
