It is known that monthly medicine expenses for chronic diseases are KRW 10,500 in average.

According to the ‘2012 Basic Analysis Report for the Korea Health Panel (II)’ co-conducted by the National Health Insurance Service and the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs on the 9^th, 8,551 people of 4,718 families suffered from chronic diseases among the total 15,872 of 5,434 families.
