There were 452 patent extension applications for pharmaceutical products, causing KRW 3 trillion profits

It is observed that the market profits of original pharmaceutical products – that is, generated through patent extension of newly registered pharmaceutical products – have exceeded approximately KRW 3 trillion. The calculation was computed based on the total 150 pharmaceutical product cases with 2 years of extension period and annual KRW 10 billion profits.
