On August 26, Korea Health Industry Development Institute announced a report of 'Analysis of PCT international application trends in the health care field’.

According to the report, total number of patent application per technology sector is 191,406 cases, and PCT application number in medicines and medical technology sector is 19,631 cases which accounted for 10.3% of the total.
