The world's first stem cell therapy for the treatment of an intractable disease ALS was developed in Korea. On July 30, biopharmaceutical company Corestem announced that they received sales approval of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) treatment 'Neuronata-R Ⓡ' which they developed with Hanyang Cell Therapy Center from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
