According to the '2013 analysis report on current status of national member' which is released by Korean Medical Association, Institute for Health Policy, the number of doctors on 1980 was 22,564. The number of doctor per 100,000 population was 54 in 1980, and the number of doctor per 100,000 population was 216 in 1980, which is increased by 390%.
