Pharmaceutical industry insisted that they should have exclusive right for sales of generic drug for about at least 1 year

On May 9, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety held a public hearing about the issue of Drug Approval-Patent Linkage System. At there, some patent attorney said that "It is excessive benefit for generic holding pharmaceutical companies to receive exclusive right for 1 year, because winning a patent litigation is not a creating act." Pharmaceutical industry is reacting against the opinion.
