Medical Supplies Imported From Japan Required to Prove Safety From Mad Cow Disease

While imports of processed food and food products from Japan that use ruminant as raw material were temporarily suspended effective September 13, a policy in Korea now also requires importers of medical supplies, cosmetics, and non-pharmaceutical and medical equipment to present document certificates to prove that such products are safe from mad cow disease.
