According to the 2014 business report of listed pharmaceutical companies settled in Dec which is submitted to Financial Supervisory Service, the ratio of R&D investment to sales was 7.6% on average.

The ratio was 7.2% in 2011, and 7.4% in 2012. Pharmaceutical companies are continuing to increase their investment in research and development.
