Legislation that introduces the system which re-evaluates safety and efficacy of Quasi-Drug depending on effect and ingredients was proposed.

Government recently suggested revised bill of pharmacy act containing this content, and plans to introduce reappraisal system of Quasi-Drug to strengthen policy for follow-up management.
