Korea has 264 pharmacies dispensing drugs without doctor’s prescription

The number of pharmacies at remote villages or on islands where pharmacists can dispense and/or sell prescription drugs without restriction came to 263 as of the end-June, according to Rep. Min Hyun-joo of the ruling Saenuri Party.

Citing the data released by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), Min said that out of the 263 pharmacies, 142 pharmacies were located in Gyeonggi Province...
