Government urged to use Korean name “off-patent drug”

The Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (KPMA) will ask for the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety to use the Korean name “off-patent drug” instead of “generic drug” to dispel the latter’s negative image as copy product.
