Pfizer’s Zithromax syrups to be recalled

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) on July 31 said that it had ordered Pfizer Korea, a subsidiary of the U.S. Pfizer Inc., to recall and discard some bottles of Zithromax (azithromycin) syrup 900mg, citing the erroneous labelling in the outer package of the product (batch No. 1317-64201).
