Japanese companies hold kick-off meeting

The special committee for Japanese drug firms in Korea, under the umbrella of the Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (KPMA), had its first meeting at Palace Hotel in Seoul on Tuesday.

Last December, eight Japanese companies decided to create the special committee and appointed Kim Dae-joong, chief executive of Daiichi-Sankyo Korea, as its new chair.
