MFDS advises additional warnings to 9 antidepressants

Pharmaceutical companies producing antidepressants must include a warning with their products that state the drugs may develop a life-threating serotonin syndrome in patients receiving a concomitant administration with an antidepressant and a MAO inhibitor. MAO inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, and tranylcypromine.
