Competitors gain over Tylenol trouble

Two local drug makers, such as Sam-A Pharm and Dongkwang Pharm selling children’s syrups containing acetaminophen, are enjoying a rush of orders from pharmacies, as the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety banned prescriptions for and sales of kid’s Tylenol suspensions made by Janssen Korea last Tuesday because of possible excessive contents of an active ingredient, acetaminophen.
