Daewoong releases Novosis, an innovative medical device

Daewoong Pharmaceutical said Tuesday it has launched Novosis, a new-concept medical device combining bone graft and rhBMP-2 (recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2).

Novosis is produced from recombinant E. coli. which harboring cDNA of human BMP-2 through genetic engineering. The high density culture and optimized purification methods enable efficient production of rhBMP-2.
